The County Administrator is appointed by and directly responsible to the Board of Commissioners. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the County Government. The Administrator serves as a liaison between the Board of Commissioners and the public, as well as between the Commissioners and the County Departments. Duties of the County Administrator To ensure that the County Commission's polices are carried out To assist in developing those polices and other goals To provide administrative leadership to the departments of the County government To provide daily management of financial, accounting, personnel, and maintenance activities To serve as a liaison between the Board of Commissioners and the public, County department heads, and other elected officials
