Elmore County is dedicated to keeping our roadsides clean. In February 2020, the Elmore County Commission partnered with some local residents to speak out against litter in their neighborhood. The Elmore County Anti-Litter Critters began popping up in our communities to encourage our citizens to help keep Elmore County clean. You may have seen the Anti-Litter Critters on your way home, around our local schools, or in front of local businesses. There are a few simple steps you can take to help keep our county and roadsides clean:

  • Do not over fill your curbside containers.
  • Bag trash prior to disposing in your curbside containers.
  • Check the bed of your truck for loose trash that could blow out.
  • Report illegal dumping to the proper authorities.
  • Organize or participate in community litter pickup events.
